Regional Centre Jorhat was activated at Jorhat in March 2013 bifurcating Regional Centre Guwahati and had a very modest beginning with 20 study centres and a handful of staff from C.K.B Commerce College premises. Presently the Regional Centre is working from a Government building at Korokatoly, Baligaon, Jorhat. RC Jorhat is presently serving the educational needs of more than 30000 learners by offering various Bachelors, Masters, Diplomas, PG Diplomas, Certificates and Bachelor Preparatory Programme through 26 Learner Support Centres spreading over thirteen (13) districts of Assam covering Jorhat, Golaghat, Sivasagar, Nagaon, Sonitpur, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, Charaideo, Majuli, Hojai & Biswanath.
